For the first ever Butterfly Effect Hood River, the wind was not present, but just perfect for stand-up paddling. The day was full of aloha with leis, sun, and warm water..at least for the gorge that is. The 28 girls showed up at 10:00AM for the sign up at Big Winds. Dakine had beautiful lycras to match the bright aloha leis and Naish had boards on the beach ready for us to get out on the water with. Emma was our local yogi that warmed us up before we paddled downstream pass the hook, to the island and back to the event site. This Butterfly Effect was a great mix of levels and ages. We were very fortunate to have Jock Bradley document our entire day. Please keep your out for his amazing images of the event in upcoming water sport magazines.
